To get your equipment into Egypt, you need a guarantee letter. This an official letter issued from an Egyptian bank and directed to the Egyptian borders customs clearance, guaranteeing that the specified gear is being imported only for a specified period of time and will not be sold. That cancels customs charges and saves precious time.
